Anosheh Afghahi is a medical oncologist, who serves as a medical director at Flatiron Health, where she applies her knowledge in the design and conduct of clinical trials and research expertise in real-world health outcomes studies.  Her list of peer-reviewed publications focus on novel therapies in breast cancer and cancer genetics/genomics.  Prior to joining Flatiron Health, Dr. Afghahi was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology, where she also served as the Medical Director of the Hereditary Cancer Program. She remains on faculty and continues to have a clinical practice.  Dr. Afghahi graduated from Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health with an MD and MPH and earned her Bachelor of Arts with highest distinction from the University of California, Berkeley.  She completed her internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship at Stanford University.
