Vanessa Kennedy, MD
Dr. Kennedy is a hematologist and medical oncologist who specializes in the use of transplant and cellular therapies to treat myeloid malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy, at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kennedy's research interest range from interventional clinical trials to epidemiology studies. She also has expertise in the use of clinical informatics and bioinformatics in understanding disease biology and patient outcomes. Her work has been supported by grant funding from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the Chan-Zuckerberg Foundation. Her goal is to understand and improve outcomes in patients with myeloid malignancies.
