Matthew Schwede, MD, MS
Dr. Matthew Schwede is a hematologist focused on myeloid disease at the Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle. He previously was at the University of California, San Francisco for internal medicine residency, and at Stanford University for hematology/oncology fellowship. While at Stanford he did research in the lab of Dr. Ravindra Majeti on acute myeloid leukemia. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Statistics from Harvard College, a medical degree from Brown University, and a Master's in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University. With his backround in statistics, computer science, and clinical informatics, he has been involved in a variety of computational research over the years. In his free time, Dr. Schwede plays cello, goes on long runs, rides his bike, and spends time with his wife Sojung and his puppy Figaro.
