Hanlee Ji, MD
Dr. Ji is a medical oncologist specializing in the management of gastrointestinal cancers, a physician scientist and a Professor at Stanford University in the Departments of Medicine and Electrical Engineering. His research addresses basic and translational questions about the genetic origins and the genome biology of gastrointestinal cancers such as stomach and colon. His research group has developed numerous DNA sequencing technologies for the characterization of cancer genomes and their tumor microenvironment, several of which have used for clinical diagnostics. Currently, he is applying new technologies and scientific approaches to identify clinically relevant features of cancer and potential new targets.
