Brian McClune, DO
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine and acting Interim Chief of Hematology. I completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and then went on to a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee where I received specialized training in hematopoietic cell transplantation. I then matriculated to the University of Minnesota where I specialized in stem cell transplantation and treatment of myeloma/plasma cell disorders, was a clinical trialist and director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program over a course of 12 years. I became part of the University of Kansas Medical Center Transplant Program before coming to the University of Utah.
My research interests are in cellular therapies for hematologic malignancies and abrogating toxicities associated with them I have a special interest in plasma cell disorders treatment including cellular therapies.
