Laura Lazarus is a Breast Surgeon at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. She went to Medical School at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia graduating in 1996, and going to to a residency in general surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She then did a breast surgery fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She went into practice as faculty at  LSU HSC New Orleans, until Hurricane Katrina  changed her course. She was in private practice until 2015 when she took a position as an assistant professor of surgery at Duke University from September 2015 until October 2018. She has been at Swedish Hospital in Seattle since June 2019.
