Nanette Robinson, MD completed her undergraduate degree with honours in the Comparative Study of Religion at Harvard and Radcliffe colleges in 1986.  Dr. Robinson received her MD from McGill University in her home town of Montreal, Canada in 1990. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Indiana University in 1993 then her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Washington in 1996.  Dr. Robinson has been a practicing hematologist and oncologist for over 25 years, with a focus on the care of patients with breast cancer. She is a member of the Southwest Oncology Group Breast Committee Working Group, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is co-president of the Seattle Blood Club. Dr. Robinson is co-faculty of the Virginia Mason “Connections” course, teaching all-day seminars in doctor-patient communication skills and she also teaches residents and fellows at the University of Washington. She was the recipient of the 2019 Virginia Mason Medical Center Patient Experience Award for outstanding accomplishments in patient care.  She loves patient care and teaching. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and pets in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
