Srinivas Tantravahi, MBBS; MRCP
Dr. Tantravahi has received his medical degree from Guntur medical college, India. He then completed Internal Medicine residency and Hematology and Oncology fellowship training at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at Huntsman Cancer Hospital, University of Utah.
His clinical interests include chronic myeloid leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, aplastic anemia and inherited bone marrow failure syndromes. Dr. Tantravahi serves as a principle investigator for clinical trials in CML, and myelofibrosis. His research focus is to develop new treatments for CML, and myelofibrosis, myeloproliferative neoplasms and understand the genetic predisposition for bone marrow failure and myeloid leukemias.
He is a member of American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He published in reputable journals including Cancer Cell, Leukemia, Blood advances and presented his work at national and international meetings.
