2022 Annual Northwest Oncology Nursing Summit: Focusing on Precision Oncology

Seattle, WA US
October 22, 2022

The "2022 Annual Northwest Oncology Nursing Summit – focusing on precision oncology" is a one-day CE-accredited in-person conference. The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners to apply practice-changing clinical data and expert recommendations to optimize clinical outcomes for patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.  The program features in-depth discussion and analysis of recently reported clinical trial data that are relevant to the management of patients with cancer. Expert faculty will utilize various formats including didactics and case-based discussions to convey the latest information in a practical and applicable way. Expert faculty will aim to place the role of different therapeutic agents in the clinical context and discuss how to utilize these therapeutic options to effectively contribute to patient care. They will discuss strategies to help healthcare professionals optimize patient management and provide insight into the evolving treatment landscape for a variety of malignancies.

Case-based discussion and audience response system will be used to create an interactive program to identify barriers and ways to navigate those barriers to optimize the delivery of care for patients with cancer. Question and answer sessions will provide an opportunity to engage with faculty as they share their experiences with clinical challenges commonly encountered in nursing practice.
